The heavens are telling the glory of God;
and the firmament proclaims his handiwork.
Day to day pours forth speech,
and night to night declares knowledge.
God’s creation – our world – just has me in awe much of the time. I love being outside, seeing new things, seeing old things in a new way. We have had a very foggy late November and I was able to get a picture of this elm tree from our front step. It was covered in hoarfrost. When today’s Advent Word came in as proclaim – I just knew I had to share this photo.
It seems to me that nature often proclaims God’s loving care. We live on this blue planet in the midst of space and we are here! Creation shouts to God – we are here! God says I know, I love you. Creation proclaims to us that we are part of God’s world and therefore part of God’s love. I am grateful for that proclamation.
